Obtaining a visa to Germany for language courses is possible, but such a visa is considered one of the most difficult to approve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are moving to Germany immediately after school or bachelor's degree with the intention of continuing your studies, in some cases a visa can be obtained without initial German language skills, unless such a requirement is set by a specific consulate (e.g. India, Saudi Arabia, ...). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have work experience or a gap year, an initial knowledge of German at A2-B1 level is required to improve your chances. It is therefore important to assess your situation correctly before applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the language course requirements for a visa?<\/summary>

In order to obtain a national visa for long-term language courses, the course must last more than 90 days and have a teaching load of at least 18 hours per week. The course must be a German language course.
