🇩🇪 Visa to Germany: up-to-date information

For students from the EU, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and many other countries, the visa application process follows a standardized procedure.

🔹 Online visa applications are now available in some countries: digital.diplo.de/visa

🔹 Students from the Russian Federation should plan ahead process: this year the waiting time for an appointment has increased significantly. You need to take action in the spring.

🔹 Students from Ukraine can apply at consulates of neighboring countries. We have a successful experience:

- visa processing in Moldova, Hungary, Poland,
- obtaining a student residence permit in Germany after visa-free entry,
- §24 (defense),
- registration of the defense and student residence permit after the defense in another country,
- of moving within Germany with protection,
- to re-enter Germany with a closed defense.

Last year, all our students got their visas on time and made it to their entrance exams and studies. 📚
