Scholarship for talented STEM applicants and students in Germany

If you are planning to study in Germany, you probably already know: undergraduate scholarships for international students are practically non-existent.

Universität Heidelberg offers Hans-Peter-Wild Talent Scholarships - a scholarship of 1000€ per month for talented students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).

Who would be eligible for a scholarship?

  • for candidates entering bachelor's programs
  • candidates for master's programs in STEM fields

What is required to submit an application:

  • motivation letter
  • CV
  • A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation from STEM professionals
  • educational documents
  • evidence of STEM activities: Olympiads, prizes, awards, internships, publications, reports, participation in conferences, seminars, academies, circles, Schülerstudium (study at a university during school)

For international students, undergraduate scholarships are a huge rarity, and here the university directly invests in the talent before they even begin their studies.

If you are strong in STEM, save and start preparing early.
