Studienkolleg is a preparatory course for students who are not fulfill the conditions for direct admission to German universities.
At the stage of admission to the Stüdienkolleg it is not necessary to choose the exact specialty, it is sufficient to choose only the direction of the future specialty.

who can attend the schudienkolleg?
Applicants who have a high school diploma from 2015 (Russia, Kazakhstan), from 2012 (Ukraine), who have a certificate of language proficiency of level B2 (in some cases B1).
If you obtained your diploma before 2014/2012 inclusive, an additional year of study at a university in your home country is required. The direction of study must be the same as the direction of the Stüdienkolleg. However, the specialty may be different from the one you plan to pursue in the future.
Applicants with a secondary vocational diploma, a year of university study in their home country and proof of B2/B1 language proficiency can also apply to the Stüdienkolleg.
how do I get into the Stüdienkolleg?

Graduates of all courses can enter the Fachhochschule Universities of Applied Sciences, graduates of the M-, T-, W-, G-, S-Kurs They can apply to all universities.
In many sources there is information about the strict attachment of the Stüdienkolleg to a certain university or federal state. That's a big misconception. Upon completion of their studies at the Stüdienkolleg, students take the Feststellungsprüfung exam (FSP), which allows them to enter universities throughout Germany.
